Community Map

ELEFA is creating a publicly accessible network map of community groups interested in policing or law enforcement in Minneapolis. If you are an organization interested or involved in law enforcement and public safety services, police reform, or marginalized group advocacy, please take a few minutes to fill out our questionnaire so that we can structure our outreach in a way that best meets your needs.

As we hear from your questionnaire results, the community map will update to include descriptions, tags, and contact info for the various organizations represented.

Community Surveyors

Effective Law Enforcement for All (ELEFA) is seeking Community Surveyors to help conduct a community safety survey of Minneapolis residents this spring. The role involves engaging community members in public locations and administering a short survey about policing and community safety focused on the Minneapolis Police Department.
This is a temporary, paid position running March through April 2026, with shifts typically lasting 3 to 5 hours, including some evenings and weekends.
We especially encourage applications from Minneapolis residents and individuals with strong ties to Minneapolis communities, including Black, Indigenous, people of color, and members of Somali and East African communities.
